This is a recipe our butcher gave me to brine turkeys for Thanksgiving
  • 8 oz Granulated Garlic
  • 8 oz Kosher Salt
  • 13 oz Dark Brown Sugar
  • Pinch of Ground Thyme
  1. Fill food safe, 5 gallon bucket, half full of cold water
  2. Dissolve all ingredients into water, using immersion blender if you have one
  3. Place turkey in solution, making sure solution covers bird completely
  4. Place lid on bucket and put in refrigerator or ice filled cooler for 24 hours.
  5. Remove Thanksgiving morning and rinse thoroughly before beginning your normal preparation
