Ingredients
  • 1 qt. Half & Half
  • 2 sticks Butter
  • 8 oz. Cream Cheese
  • 12 oz. Shaved Parmesan Cheese
  • 6 oz. Shaved Italian Cheese Blend
  • 2 tbs. Granulated Garlic
  • Kosher Salt
  • Pepper
  • Italian Seasoning
  • Whole Milk
Instructions
  1. Lay two sticks of butter in bottom of saucepan with 8 oz. Cream Cheese on top.
  2. Allow butter to melt over low heat. Cream cheese will soften while the butter melts.
  3. Once butter is melted, whisk butter and cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Add Half & Half, continuing to whisk until well blended.
  5. Add Parmesan Cheese, 1 cup at a time, whisk until smooth.
  6. Add granulated garlic, kosher salt, pepper and Italian seasoning.
  7. Simmer for 15 - 20 min. on low heat mixing with whisk.
  8. Let simmer longer as needed to thicken but not on higher heat to keep from separating, continuing whisking to maintain consistency.
  9. Taste and adjust seasonings to taste.
  10. Add whole milk a splash at a time as you balance the flavor from a cheese sauce to a cream sauce
