Ingredients
  • 3 lb. Lean Ground Round
  • 1 ¼ C. Quaker Oats
  • 1 C. Tomato Sauce
  • 1 ¼ C. Bread Crumbs
  • 1 Can Tomato Soup
  • 3 Eggs or substitute
  • ¾ C. Onion, chopped
  • 2½ tsp. Salt,
  • 1 tsp. Pepper
  • Mixture of Ketchup and Brown Sugar for topping
  • Green Pepper Rings for top
Instructions
  1. Heat oven to 350 F.
  2. Combine all ingredients except toppings.
  3. Mix lightly but thoroughly.
  4. Pat into 2 or 3 - 8 x 4 inch loaf pan.
  5. Bake 1 hour or until meat is no longer pink and juices run clear.
  6. Let meatloaf stand for 5 minutes before cutting.
  7. (I use 3 lb. Ground round and make three at a time to freeze.)
